We are currently seeking a positive, self-motivated individual to join our Production Planning team who reflects our core values and commitment to excellence.
The Production Planning Scheduler is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining production schedules for CT, VT and VA facilities to ensure that manufacturing processes flow efficiently. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize production and minimize delays.

Job Outline
Role & Responsibilities
- Create stock and custom work orders for three locations.
- Close completed work orders.
- Scan and attach completed work orders to work order in ERP system.
- Assist the manufacturing team with work order questions.
- Monitor and respond to and or triage emails throughout the day.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules for unforeseen delays or changes.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders about schedule changes and their implications.
- Utilize ERP systems for scheduling and provide reports on production status.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and capacity.
- Communicate with our customer relations team to provide product ETAs and facilitate work order changes. Other projects as assigned.
SKILLS
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand product workflows and schedules.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Some understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
- Ability to work independently to start and finish responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
- Ability to work in an office setting and visit the production floor as needed.
- May require occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
