New England Chimney Supply (NECS) is a leading manufacturing company specializing in chimney venting systems. With over 14 years of experience, we take pride in providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service to our clients. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team!
The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of custom chimney products. This role involves working with various metals to create parts and structures by cutting, bending, and assembling processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal, welding, soldering, and reading engineering drawings.
Job Outline
Role & Responsibilities
- The ability to take direction and learn internal manufacturing techniques & procedures.
- Ability to operate machinery which may include shears, brakes, spot welders, plasma table, rollers, punches, and other metal fabrication tools.
- Attend required mandatory safety training on equipment and follow all safety protocols. QC fabricated products to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
- Set up and operate equipment to form and assemble sheet metal products.
- Keep and maintain a clean workstation.
- Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Other Duties may be assigned as needed.
SKILLS
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- Must have the mindset to enjoy working with their hands and producing a quality product.

Requirements

- Employee will be asked to bring basic tools including tape measure, ball peen hammer, speed square.
- Able to stand for most of your shift.
